Hi Steve, I understand that. I am not expecting my task to be done by the rexx geniuses here, rather what I am expecting is a heads up on how to approach my task. Apologies if my post appeared like that to you.

Generally, I don't post in CLIST/Rexx as I seldom write Rexx, and my CLIST skills are only slightly better than your alleged Rexx skills. However, we - as a group - will not do your work for you, which seems to be your expectation. Our goal is to provide assistance for relatively simple questions and problems. We are not unpaid consultants, we are not unpaid trainers and you should not expect us to spend hours doing research. Over in PL/I / Assembler I occaisionally write simple tutorials, but that is not the primary idea behind this site |
