2 years back I was working on that for a very short period of time for one of the Healthcare firm in California, wasn't that difficult but yes relatively COBOL is very easy. They don't have something interactive and user friendly options like TSO/ISPF otherwise the code is pretty much the same. But I heard that HP has warned their customers to migrate their applications sooner or later by 2020 (here)as they may be taking out the support as they don't see anymore profits as very few corporations uses them now.
